Hummer battery advice – any good shops near Motor City that know heavy-duty AGM?
Morning everyone, hoping for a bit of local knowledge here. My H2 has been my daily driver for years, but this week the cranking has been noticeably slower and the other day the central locking was acting up. I’m pretty sure the battery is on its way out, especially with the heat we’ve been having lately. I know a few places around Sharjah that do general battery swaps, but I’d rather take it somewhere that actually knows these big American SUVs. I found a service provider called Service My Car that lists Hummer battery replacement in Sharjah, and I’ve also read that Dynatrade has centers across the UAE and offers specialized battery testing and replacement for Hummers. I just want to make sure whoever I go with uses the right heavy-duty AGM battery for the H2, because I’ve seen other workshops try to put in a standard battery that just doesn’t hold up in the long run. I’m in Motor City and I’d prefer not to drive too far, so if anyone knows the Leading battery dealers for Hummer vehicles in Motor City or a nearby area like Al Quoz that actually knows what they’re doing with the battery management system, please let me know. Trying to get it sorted before I get stranded somewhere.
